On 23rd of October at State Museum of Arts named after A.Kasteyev KeremetArt organized the round table to discuss interesting topic: Art shall surprise – for and against.
Speakers included Elizaveta Malinovskaya, the PhD of Art science, founder of art gallery, Gulmira Shalabayeva, the director of State Museum of Arts, Ekaterina Reznikova, Phd of Arts, science worker of State museum of Arts, Zhanna Mambetova, the founder of Cultural Dialogue public foundation, Gulya Gromova-Djumagari, the artist, and other artists art critics. Zhibek Karamanova, the founder of Keremetart, was the moderator of round table.
Participants of round table discussed such issues as What role shall belong to the artist in grading system of modern values? Can Art inspire, surprise, irritate, frighten, be indifferent, raise important issues of the society or be the object of esthetic pleasure only?
Reviewing the art works of Gulya Gromova-Djumagari as example, the experts noted that her works and works of other artists possess the deep philosophical meaning and ambiguous psychological context. The author herself noted that all art story lines are the reflection of the reality, some kind of print of various human feelings and concepts as joy, sadness, life and death, kindness and anger.
