Personal exhibition of Armat Bektas
On 26th of April 2017 in Almaty in State Museum of Arts of the Republic of Kazakhstan named after A.Kasteyev there was held the personal exhibition “Flower of life” of sculptor and artist Armat Bektas. Keremet Art project became the curator and organizer of exhibition, the general sponsor was KEREMET Holding law firm. KEREMET Holding law firm always supports the activity of the artists chosen for cooperation by Keremet Art project, and wishes to the project the world recognition and prosperity.
Gulmira Shalabayeva, the director of the State Museum of Arts, curators, colleague, and Zhibek Karamanova, the founder of Keremet Art and KEREMET Holding law firm, spoke at the opening of the event. The guests of the exhibition, famous art critics and experts, art collectors and others highly evaluated the art of Armat Bektas. The exhibition which will take place till 15th of May displays more than 100 works of art, graphics, sculpture and photoinstallation.
The artist called his exhibition as “Flower of life” which means the model of Universe’s structure. According to the artist it is the only image which includes all aspects of the life coming from the Great Emptiness, symmetry and harmony, all mathematical formulas, Infinity symbol, «∞», all physics laws and biological life forms. You can also see the unseparatable structures of the yurt and kazan (the dish) which symbolizes the Mangilik El – the way to unite the nation, the way to tolerance. The plastic language of Armat Bektas – the artist, sculptor, author of the new style Armatline, attracts with the novelty and specifics of usage of steppe philosophy, pagan symbols and ornaments.
Armat Bektas is the participant of a number of republican and international exhibitions. His works are at museums and private collections of Kazakhstan, USA, England, Germany, France, Italy.
